This page sets out how Coliving Insider is made: where its facts come from, what it will not publish, how it is paid for and who answers for it. Added 28 August 2026, and it will be revised on this page rather than replaced.
Who is accountable
Coliving Insider is published by Northbank Media. Editorial decisions are made by the Coliving Insider desk and the publisher is accountable for everything that appears here. No coliving operator, coworking space, booking platform, relocation agent or advertiser has any influence over what is published, and nobody outside the desk sees a piece before it goes live.
Corrections and disagreements go to editorial@colivinginsider.com. Every message is read by a person.
What this title covers, and what it refuses
The subject is coliving, coworking and location-independent work treated as a housing and working decision: what the format is, what it costs against renting, what a contract binds you to, and what a city is like to live in for a season.
- We name no coliving operators, venues or addresses anywhere on this site, and we rank none.
- We take no booking commission and run no affiliate links.
- Costs are published as observed 2026 ranges for orientation. They are not quotations, and every page says so.
- Where a subject touches immigration, tax or residency we explain the shape of the rule and point at the official government portal, and we stop there. We are not advisers.
- We do not publish a claim about a specific building, because we cannot verify one.
Sourcing and evidence
Factual claims come from sources a reader can reach: official government portals for visas, residency and tax, national statistics offices and published cost indices for the numbers, and the text of the regulations themselves where a rule is described. Direct experience of the cities covered informs what a piece chooses to explain, and it is never used as a substitute for a source on a matter of fact.
Where a figure moves with season, neighbourhood or exchange rate, it is given as a range and the conditions travel with it. Where the evidence is thin, the page says so rather than rounding it into advice.
Accuracy, revision and corrections
Pages carry a review date, and that date means a person checked the page against current sources on that day. We do not refresh a date to look current. Visa and tax rules change without warning, so every page that touches one tells you to confirm it on the official portal before you act.
Corrections are made on the page itself, and a material correction is noted there rather than made quietly. A correction is made because it is correct, and for no other reason.
Funding and independence
Nothing on this site can be bought. There is no sponsored placement, no affiliate link and no commission. If that ever changes it will be stated on this page before it appears anywhere else, any sponsorship or advertisement will be labelled as such, and no commercial arrangement will ever cause a coliving space to be named favourably.
Use of AI tools
AI tools are used in research and drafting. Every published piece is reviewed by a person who is accountable for it, and no claim reaches publication because a model asserted it.
